Agote Surfboards are produced and shipped worldwide from our factory in Zarautz, Spain (Basque Country Surf Company S.L.).
VAT (value added tax) is not charged for orders placed outside the EU, therefore prices quoted will vary depending on your shipping destination.
Customers ordering surfboards/accessories from outside the EU will pay a VAT-free export price equivalent to a 21% discount, but expect to pay import duty according to your country’s standard rates.

To calculate the combined total of surfboard/accessories + shipping price to your non-EU country, first deduct 21% from the list price of your surfboard/accessories and then add the shipping price you see listed below, which is already excluding VAT.

Surfboards ordered from our existing inventory will be shipped within 24 hours (workdays) of receiving your order. Custom surfboards are shipped within 24 hours of completion (2-6 weeks).
Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. BCSC will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment. BCSC cannot be held accountable for any late deliveries due to couriers or other circumstances beyond our control.
All surfboards will be carefully wrapped at a high standard of protection that we deem acceptable.
BCSC are NOT held accountable for damaged products during shipments. We can offer insurance on shipping. Full insurance for 1% of the surfboard value – please contact us at email@example.com if you want to add this option.
What to do if you received damaged goods
If the parcels outer packaging is damaged: you can either take (make the courier take a note about the damage!!) or refuse the parcel. Inform us right away (no later than 1 day after delivery), take pictures and keep all original packaging.
If the parcels outer packaging is not damaged and you sign it with „delivered in good state“, we can not claim insurance in case the content of shipment is damaged!
Therefore we recommend if you don’t have the time to open the box while the courier is there: tell him to make a note, not correct!
This gives us the possibility to still claim insurance after you opened the box and noticed a damage: in this case we also need to be informed right away. Add to the application pictures with both external and internal state of the shipment and keep all the original packaging until the courier came to check the damage or until the claim is solved.
When your order is shipped you will be sent an E-mail confirmation. This will include an order number which can be used when enquiring about your order status.
